About Us

WELCOME TO ALASKA
Your Chalet
in the Dolomites
Before we meet in person, let us tell you a little about ourselves: we are Christine, a passionate ski instructor and mountain guide; Laura, a young and accurate organizer with a proactive spirit; and Uncle Ermanno, a true pillar of Ladin hospitality.
Born and raised in Val di Fassa, we chose hospitality out of passion, we love what we do, and we do it with a smile: our guests notice it and often come back to visit us. Together with our trusted staff, we do everything we can to offer a vacation full of genuine emotions, sincere hospitality, and natural lightness.
Spend a few days with us, and we’re sure you’ll want to come back!
Christine, Laura, and the whole Alaska family.
Our Philosophy
Rejuvenation
Renewing oneself
Fostering connections
Caring for
the environment
Our “Regenerative” concept goes beyond sustainability, combining wellness, social welfare, and nature. We draw inspiration from the wood of the Dolomites, which naturally fosters friendship, empathy, and joy, regenerating through sustainable actions in harmony with the land and its inhabitants. This makes Chalet Alaska a welcoming and genuine home, just like us!
Eco-Friendly Chalet
Our Concrete Actions:
- Our chalet is largely built with wood, and the third floor is entirely made of it
- For the furnishings, crafted by our skilled carpenter dad Vittorio, we used local spruce and reclaimed wood
- We practice separate collection
- All taps are equipped with aerators to reduce water consumption
- We follow a green policy for linens and towels
- The light bulbs are energy-efficient
- We provide an electric car charging station
- You can leave your car in the parking lot and move around on foot, with local public transport, or by using our shuttle service
- We are a bike hotel, with a bike rental agreement
- We have started eliminating single-use plastics
With your support and contribution, we will continue to do even more!
